Why This Mission Exists
— A personal reflection by Frank Bucchi, Founder
If you've found your way here looking for another financial website, you may be surprised by what follows.
This isn't the story of a company. It's the story of a promise.

The First Hero
I was about six years old, sitting in our living room with my mom and dad watching the evening news. A commercial fire was raging somewhere in Chicago. The reporter was interviewing one of the firefighters after the blaze had been brought under control.
The reporter asked him a simple question:
"Why would you risk your life for total strangers?"
Without hesitation, the firefighter smiled, gave a little wink, and answered:
"Because it's the right thing to do."
At six years old, something happened inside me that I couldn't explain.
I was CERTAIN he was ten feet tall, and
a wave of euphoria washed over me, and
One thought entered my mind:
Superheroes ARE real.
That realization never left me.

The Day I Needed One
I was eighteen years old when my dad suffered his third heart attack in just two years.
I woke to chaos.
Without thinking, I began performing CPR on my father while family members waited for help to arrive.
The first person through our door was a County Sheriff's deputy.
He immediately rushed over to me, gently placed his hand on my shoulder, and said words I'll never forget:
"Brother... I'VE GOT THIS."
In that instant, everything changed.
For the first time since waking up, I wasn't carrying the weight alone.
Someone had arrived who knew exactly what to do.
Someone who had chosen a life of running toward other people's worst days.
He stepped in without hesitation, allowing me to become a son again instead of the person trying to save his father.
Despite every effort that morning, my dad didn't survive.
For years afterward, one regret stayed with me.
I never learned that deputy's name.
I never got the chance to tell him what those four words meant to an eighteen-year-old kid whose world had just fallen apart.
I never got to say thank you.
That experience changed me forever.

Another Kind of Superhero
Later, after everything that could be done had been done, the physician came to speak with our family.
He asked us to step into a private room.
As devastating as that moment was for us, another thought entered my mind.
I found myself grieving for him.
He had done everything humanly possible to save my father.
Now he had to walk into a room and tell another family that someone they loved was gone.
I remember thinking...
A bad day on the job for a Superhero, can mean that someone has died.
That realization changed the way I looked at firefighters.
At law enforcement.
At paramedics.
At physicians.
At every man and woman who willingly carries burdens the rest of us hope we never have to face.

The Promise
Those moments stayed with me for years.
I kept asking myself one question.
How do you ever properly thank people who willingly spend their lives protecting complete strangers?
Eventually, one answer became impossible to ignore.
Gratitude should DO something.
Otherwise...
it's just another word.
That conviction eventually became FRONTLINE LEGACY.
I wanted my gratitude to become tangible.
If there was a way to help those who have spent their lives protecting others preserve more of what they've worked a lifetime to earn...
Then sharing that opportunity became more than a profession.
It became a promise.
FRONTLINE LEGACY didn't begin as a business.
It began as a promise to honor the people who have spent their lives protecting everyone else.
Everything we've built since has simply been our way of keeping that promise.
